Where They Are Now - ex-Charlton players 2024

George Dobson leaves the field as a Charlton player for the last time at Wycombe Wanderers in April
Simon Matthews reprises his popular annual survey of former Addicks still active at other clubs or currently unattached for 2024.

The annual update plotting the on-going careers of the ex-Addicks. As the distance lengthens between our spells in the Premiership and Championship, it comes as no surprise to note that we have fewer former players turning out at the highest level than was the case a few years back. But we still have more than most, with 6 appearing in the Premiership and 16 in the top flight elsewhere (including Scotland). Note too the progress made in recent years by goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov. Unable to get a game for us between 2015 and 2017 he is now holding down the No 1 slot with Aberdeen, with 5 appearances in full internationals for Bulgaria to his name.
